Abstract : A new compression technique for color images, which is based on the use of colorization methods, has been proposed. In colorization-based coding, the encoder chooses a few representative pixels (RP) for which the chrominance values and the positions are sent to the decoder, whereas in the decoder, the chrominance values for all the pixels are reconstructed by colorization methods. The main contribution of this project is that formulate the Representative pixel (RP) selection problem into an optimization problem, that is, an L1 minimization problem using an Artificial Bee Colony algorithm has to be used to construct the codebook of vector quantization.The proposed method uses initial of ABC algorithm to develop the VQ algorithm.The Pareto set is used to control the behaviour of the individuals and structuring the bee colony.The selection of the RP is optimal with respect to the given colorization matrix in the sense that the difference error between the original color image and the reconstructed color image becomes minimum with respect to the L2 norm error. Furthermore, the number of pixels in the RP set is also minimized by the L1 minimization. For a ?xed error value and a given colorization matrix, the chosen set of RP is the smallest set possible and also propose a method to construct the colorization matrix that colorizes the image in a multiscale manner. This, combined with the proposed RP extraction method, allows us to choose a very small set of RP.

Abstract : Computer Application is one of the emerging domains in the field of computing and information technology. It is a domain of professional practice in India and mainly applicable in the working areas of software development and management. In Computer Application field the most significant job areas are software design and development, software engineering and management etc. Computer Application is available with two nomenclature and degrees viz. MCA and BCA. After completion of Computer Application degree, one can further progress and reach up to Doctoral Degree leading to Ph.D. In Computer Application, the flagship program is Masters one called Masters of Computer Application (MCA). A large number of universities and engineering colleges in India offers MCA program. It is normally available with 3 years duration. Unlike other computing and information technology degrees, it has opened a new vista for other background students to enter into the field of computing and IT profession. Computer Applications degree holders are widely working in Indian IT industry and doing well. Initially when the program was started in the nineteen-eighties rest part of the world were moved towards a new domain and fields called ‘Information Technology’ with much broader aim and agenda. Gradually MCA programs became popular and several institutions have been started the program with the widely running 3 years degree. Though in recent past many other universities mainly private universities have opened up a new world of MCA program with different duration based on entry level qualifications. In this paper, we have discussed and analyzed the unique features of MCA program offered by Indian Private Universities with special emphasis on Lateral entry to second and third years.

Abstract : This paper gives a comparative analysis of modified SEPIC converter with magnetic coupling for high static gain applications by using PI and Fuzzy controllers. For high static gain applications without magnetic coupling cannot be essential. By using magnetic coupling high static gain can be achieved without increasing duty cycle and switch voltage with the help of PI or Fuzyy controllers. And also load regulation can be achieved by using both these controllers. From these controllers Fuzzy is the most advanced method than PI for better load regulation. Simulation result for both these controller shows that both are useful for low input high output applications.

Abstract : Several deaths are caused due to cancer. Cancer detection and classification is an important issue in the field of bioinformatics. Machine learning technique such as classification and data mining technique such as clustering are previously applied for identifying cancer using gene expression data. But the technique used is time consuming. In this paper we implement a distributed clustering algorithm by which time consumption is lesser. In this algorithm we planned to implement hierarchical clustering in a distributed manner.

Abstract : The development of technology should be an aid for human life to make it better. Hence a wide variety of motors are used in biomedical applications.A common type of motor employed is a BLDC motor. The BLDC can of slotless or slotted type. The slotless stator has a number of advantages such as reduced inductance and lower torque ripples. The responseof the machine is also improved. A comparative study of the slotted and slotless armature is done here. The results ensure that the slotless design provides a better performance as compared to the slotted design.

Abstract : The education and training programs are changing rapidly internationally. In recent past, most of the reputed and emerging universities in the world moving not only to offer the degrees with knowledge but also ‘skills’. Hence today universities are moving to bundle knowledge and training. Previously bachelors degrees and masters degrees were treated as a capsule of in depth knowledge and training programs as a separate one for skilled manpower. But the trend for the inclusion of skill in the traditional bachelors and masters programs become important day by day. India is moving towards a developing nation powered by emerging economies, technological societies, and digital economy. Thus universities and HEIs are increasing rapidly and importantly higher degrees especially doctoral degrees leading to PhDs also been offered higher and started in different types of universities. Private universities are offering a good number of PhDs in the nation and the quality of some of the universities no doubt comparable to the funded universities and even few have increased their standards more than that. The field of Information Sciences i.e. Computing related domains have different nature than others as it is available in different nomenclatures. The present study is analytical one with agenda of exploring Doctoral programs in the entire field of IT and Computing in private universities. The study shows the growing trend, state wise distribution, and future potentialities.

International Universities are moving towards new generation programs and areas within Computing and Information Technologies for the development and applications. Traditionally within the field of Computing and Information Technologies ‘Computer Science’ treated as the first one with a due focus on mathematics and theoretical sciences. Gradually many other subjects have originated in the areas include Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Systems, Computer Applications etc. In India, among these subjects, only Computer Applications and Information Technology are widely available and practiced. Abstract : The objective of this research is to develop a policy based security applications to increase the security of software defined network. It has a control model by the separation of the control plane and data plane. It's well suited to secure the network deployments and provides logically centralized intelligence programmability. But, the software defined network suffers from denial of service attacks in most cases. To overcome this crisis, security algorithm has been proposed to protect the network and investigated the security assets on the software defined network control channel and required algorithm to overcome the security problem. Hill cipher algorithm is used for providing authentication to secure the software defined network. This analysis is focused on performance of various routing protocols running over software defined network by using the authentication mechanism. Performance metrics like throughput, end-to-end delay and packet delivery ratio were considered for analysis. The result shows that the destination sequenced distance vector routing protocol have better performance in software defined network.

Abstract : The aim of this research is to study on a multi level public distribution system in fair price shop nothing but ration shop. It is proposed to suggest a model to reduce the total overheads including ordering and reordering costs and inventory holding costs for smooth distribution of product from mandal level stock points to fair price shops. Public distribution system introduces the fair price shop for distributing the grains to the poor peoples. Currently this public distribution system involves corruption and proscribed smuggling of goods. Hence, in this research we suggest an approach to mechanize all the manual jobs in ration shop and the whole thing from data entry to weighing to thrashing is prepared by machines and the people have no hand in that. This provides high reliability and there brings a sense of straightforwardness to the consumers. Further, as all the data maintenance and data allocation is prepared by the computer and it can keep track of all the data and the entire process of data maintenance is taken care of by the personal computer and hence no possibility of mistakes and practically no manual work.

Abstract : The aim of this research is to obtain an efficient code compression ratio with less hardware overhead using a multiple lookup table’s access with Index number. It can help to reduce the memory usage in field programmable gate array architecture. Dictionary based compression algorithm is used to design a lookup tables. The large lookup tables are used to compress single instructions and small lookup tables is used to compress the extremely high-frequency instructions. The Tag bits are used to identify whether the code is compressed with direct dictionary access or Bit-mask approach. Mixed bit saving dictionary selection algorithm is used to build a dictionary based on the frequencies of the instructions. Codeword length constrained bitmask code compression is an algorithm used for compressing the code. The decompression engine was designed to retrieve the original instructions. The code compression algorithm is simulated and synthesized in Quartus II 10.0 tool. The code compression ratio is measured for large number of instructions. The Decompression engine is simulated and synthesized in Xilinx 14.2 tool. From the results it was observed that the proposed dictionary based code compression provides high code compression ratio with less overhead of hardware architecture for decompression.
